Emir Fulurija has been involved in music as a journalist and organizer for over 20 years. He is the curator of the world music program ‘Vrelo zvuka’ at Club Močvara in Zagreb, and he started the program ‘Lisinski srijedom & Izvorišta’ at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. He is also the author of the radio show ‘Izvorišta’, which has been broadcast for 12 years. Izvorišta is an old Croatian word for 'water springs'. Previously, he was the editor-in-chief of the webzine ‘Pot Lista’ and hosted programs at Club Orlando in Dubrovnik.

The show began as a podcast and show on Radio Student, where students of journalism from Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb practice during the morning hours. On afternoons and nights program of Radio Student is different, mostly not edited by the students. Radio Student has been on air for since 1996, and broadcasts on 100,5 MHz in the wider area of Zagreb, the Croatian capital.
