LuizGa & Edgar Valente - Haux Haux
In their debut album Aiê, LuizGa (Luiz Gabriel Lopes ) from Brazil and Edgar Valente from Portugal explore the Portuguese language as it is heard around the world. Aiê was recorded in 2020 and in World Music Chart Europe published today (1 March) it enters the chart at number 3.
"In Yoruba language, 'AIÊ' refers to the 'world of the living': the world where physical encounters take place, where the presence and magic of improvisation are celebrated, and where music and words are living proof of the power of vibration, opening portals of contact with the spiritual world.
LuizGa and Edgar Valente face each other singing as they explore the creative territory of the Portuguese language diaspora around the world, creating new harmonies, rhythms, and textures that redefine the cultures involved. The echoes of Lusophony become the starting point to investigate repertoires in various languages, through the prism of researching multiple mythological and spiritual egregores that connect this web. Complementary dramatic elements come into play, illuminating different aspects of the same source, woven together by voices in mysterious alchemy, in a generous multicultural collaboration. Aiê’s debut album, recorded in 2020 during the pandemic, was later finalized and co-produced by Guilherme Kastrup, a Grammy award winner who has worked with artists like Adriana Calcanhoto and Elza Soares, and is released by the Swedish label ajabu!. The album consists of 10 original songs, featuring collaborations between the two artists, and previously unreleased tracks by other authors such as Sérgio Pererê and Gustavito, bringing together a plurality that encompasses the ancestralities and experiences shared by the artists throughout their musical journey over the past decades.

COYOHUALLI - MUVA - Feat. Adriano Sangineto
MUVA are a Mexican band and have a unique take on music which goes beyond the expected Latin beats of their country.
MUVA combines in its composition atmospheres of many national cultures, surrounded by elements of rock, electronic, classical, tribal music from various cultures and jazz improvisations, but in environment that takes us back to feel like inside the scene of a movie. Cinematic music is conceptually arranged to enhance and frame emotions at specific moments within a movie scene as a soundtrack and, in this case, to frame images and scenes of our lives. [Tejo Music]
On this new single they are joined by the internationally renowned Italian musician Adriano Sangineto on Irish harp.
Adriano Sangineto is an Italian musician (specialized in Celtic harp), composer and arranger. He completed his musical studies at the Milan Conservatoire where he graduated in clarinet and experimental composition. From his youth he began to breathe music in the environment of the luthery of his father Michele Sangineto, where he came into contact with numerous musicians, such as Nicanor Zabaleta, Alan Stivell, Derek Bell, Carlos Nunez and others.
